Malaysia's Kencana wins $ 39 mln oil-rig contract

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 6 (Reuters) Malaysian oil and gas services firm Kencana Petroleum Bhd has won a million contract to build an offshore platform and structures, Kencana said on Tuesday.

The contract, the third secured by Kencana within the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area, is expected to be fully completed by mid 2009, Kencana said in a statement.
