Last batch of Haj pilgrims from J and K arrive from Jeddah
Srinagar, Feb 6 (UNI) The last batch of the Haj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir arrived here today from Jeddah, official sources said.
They said 74 hajis, including 25 women pilgrims, were received at the airport by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, and other senior civil and police officials.
With this, all the pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir, who peformed the haj this year, returned back to their homes.
However, 12 pilgrims, including Ghulam Qadir Bhat, elder brother of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, died in holy cities of Mecca and Madina during the pilgrimage.
