HC refers writ on HOA to other bench for second time

Chandigarh, Feb 6 (UNI) Punjab and Haryana High Court today referred to new bench the writ petition filed by Congress MP Navin Jindal seeking stay on the permission by a lower court in Sirsa to Abhey Singh Chautala, ex-MLA, to use the banner of Haryana Olympic Association (HOA) during the National Games at Guwahati.

Mr Jindal has claimed that he was the rightful president of HOA and not Abhey Singh Chautala.

This is for the second time that the matter was being referred to another bench as only yesterday Justice Pritam Pal had done this which led to the same being listed before Justice Kiran Anand Lal today.

It would now again go to the Chief Justice for orders for listing.
