Gangster Kandhal Jadeja flees from hospital

Rajkot, Feb 6 (UNI) Kandhal Sarman Jadeja, son of ''godmother'' Santokben Jadeja and main accused in the murder of Porbandar councillor Keshu Odedara, today escaped from a private hospital where he was undergoing treatment.

Kandhal Jadeja, main accused in the murder of Keshu Odedara who was murdered on March 1, 2005, had been lodged in the Rajkot Jail.

But, since the last few days, he had been admiitted in a privte hospital, police said.

Police said Jadeja escaped from the hospital at around 1030 hrs.

The police have launched a man hunt for the fugitive.

Santokben Jadeja's 32-year-old daughter-in-law Rekha Kandhal Jadeja had been shot dead at her residence here on May 20 last year.

Kandhal Jadeja's brother, Karan, was arrested from Mumbai in this connection.
