Patna, Feb 6 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Food and Civil Supplies Akhilesh Singh today said development of Bihar was not patent of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Mr Singh told newspersons here that Mr Kumar was panicky with the immense response of people to the Vikas March of Union Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, who was striving for the development of the state.

Mr Singh retorted sharply to the statement of Mr Kumar in which the latter had stated that Vaishali had not been patented by the Union Minister and said development of Bihar was not a patent of Mr Kumar.

He said the Ministers at the Centre were equally concerned with the development of the state and for this he had even reviewed the performance of his department in the state itself.

He further alleged that more than fifty per cent of the developmental funds was being diverted here.

Reacting to the revamping of sick sugar mills, he said the state government had yet not allotted land to even single sugar mill.
