Day curfew lifted in MP town

Rajgarh (MP), Feb 6: Curfew was relaxed for 17 hours today from 07:00 hours till midnight in Bioara town in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh district as the situation has improved, official sources said.

The situation would be reviewed further in the evening to consider lifting of curfew, an official spokesman said.

Curfew was imposed in Biaora town on Wednesday following arson and violence following mounting communal tension after removal of posters relating to a religious congregation.

About 60 people had been arrested in connection with violent incidents.
