CPI alleges coercion vis-a-vis Salwa Judum
Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Feb 6 (UNI) Communist Party of India leader and Akhil Bharatiya Adivasi Mahasabha President Manish Kunjam has alleged that tribals in Bastar division's Jagarguda were being ''coerced'' to join the Salwa Judum (Peace Mission) anti-naxal campaign.
''During Governor E S L Narasimhan's recent visit to south Bastar, the police and Salwa Judum workers forced villagers -- at gunpoint -- to gather in the Jagarguda Police Station premises,'' he said in a statement here.
Mr Kunjam was demanded an inquiry in the matter.
