Cases registered against inmates for possessing cellphones

Puducherry, Feb 6 (UNI) Police today registered cases against six inmates of the central prison for possession of cellphones and liquor in their cell.

According to police sources, a police team on a routine check up of the cells found the cellphone and two sim-cards, besides a bottle of liquor.

A case has been registered and investigation was underway.
