BJP has decided to hold rally on April 6,2007

Shimla, Feb 6 (UNI) The State BJP has decided to hold ''Satta Parivartan Sankalp Rally'' on April 6, 2007, which also marks the foudation day of BJP.

State BJP President,Jai Ram Thakur said the rally, which was scheduled earlier for March 6,2007 had to be postpoed in wake of refusal of permission of Ice Sketing Rink on the scheduled date.

He said that aim of the rally would be to the expose anti people policies being pursued by the government, besides raising issues like price rise, corruption and unemployment in the state.

Mr Thakur also criticised the state government for denying permission to his party for holding a rally at the said venue and said that this step by the government clearly reflects the state of disarray in the party. He stated that the rally would be addressed by central as well as state BJP leaders and would be well attended by party workers from all across the state.
