BJP executive committee meeting
Ahmedabad, Feb 6 (UNI) The newly-constituted executive committee of the BJP met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Narendra Modi and State President Purshottam Rupala.
The committee unanimously passed a resolution, proposed by former BJP president Vajubhai Vala, that it should give powers to Mr Rupala to form the state Parliamentary Board and disciplinary committee, party sources said.
The Committee also passed six other resolutions, including welcoming of the decision of Mr Modi to introduce 'Samras' scheme in various villages of Gujarat.
It also welcomed the decision to raise the height of Gujarat Life Line project 'Narmada Dam' upto 121.92 meter, with rise of 32 meters during Mr Modi's tenure, sources said.
The meeting was also attended by BJP's national General Secretary and Gujarat Affairs' In-charge Omji Mathur, sources added.
