AP CM to pay two-day visit to temple town

Tirupati, Feb 6: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy will visit the temple town to take part in a marriage function and offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala.

According to officials sources here today, the Chief Minister, after arriving in a helicopter at the municipal ground at 1730 hrs on February eight, would immediately proceed to Tirumala by road to offer worship at the Balaji temple.

Later, Dr Reddy would motordown and stay overnight at the Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanams-run Padmavathi guest house here.

On February nine, Dr Reddy would grace the wedding of Sri Venkateswara University senate member Venkatarami Reddy's daughter at Urban Haat near Tiruchanoor and leave for Hyderabad by helicopter, sources added.
