Another warm day for Delhiites; mercury touches 12.5 deg
New Delhi, Feb 6 (UNI) With summer knocking on the doors of the national capital, Delhi experienced yet another warm day as mercury rose to 12.5 degrees Celsius today, four degrees above normal.
The capital experienced slight fog in the morning after several days of a clear sky. The visibility levels, however, remained normal at 800 m.
The warmth in the air, prevailing over the last 10 days, is expected to continue during the next 24 hours with the weatherman forcasting a rise in the minimum temperature to 13 degrees tomorrow.
The met office has forcast a partly cloudy sky in the capital during the next 24 hours with slight mist during the morning hours.
Delhiites have witnessed an unusually warm weather in the last week of January with the minimum temperature touching nearly 15 degrees, six degrees above normal.
