Itanagar, Feb 06: The Arunachal Law Students' Union(ALSU) has demanded the state government to allocate Rs two lakh each for 31 health sub-centers in Upper Subansiri district for procurement of medicines.

In a memorandum to state Health and Family Welfare Minister C C Singpho, the ALSU said the district hospitals were not having proper infrastructure.

The union also urged the minister to look into the matter immediately and improve the poor healthcare facilities in all the districts.

They also alleged that only eight sub-centers out of 31 were alloted funds during the current fiscal, which the union said was not sufficient for procurement of various life saving drugs.
