Akali Dal(1920) promises unemployment allowance to youths

Jalandhar, Feb 6 (UNI) Akali Dal(1920) has assured Rs 1,000 per month unemployment allowance to youths if it came to power in Punjab after the assembly elections.

This assurance was given in the party manifesto for the Feburary 13 assembly elections, released by party president Ravi Inder Singh here today.

The party has assured appropriate steps for early solution of the basic problems of the common man, including unemployment and improvement in power supply. The manifesto also laid emphasis on boosting industrialisation, trade and business and agriculture activities.

The party is contesting the elections in alliance with CPI, CPI(M), Jan Morcha and Lok Bhalai Party.
