VP offers prayers at Tirumala

Tirumala, Feb 5 (UNI) Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat today offered worship at Lord Venkateswara Temple here.

He was received at the temple by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B Karunakara Reddy, TTD EO A P V N Sarma and top police officials.

He was honoured by temple priests and offered prasadams, lord's portrait and spirtual books.

After overnight stay here, he would attend 'Suprabata Seva' at the temple in the morning before leaving for Tiruchanoor to offer prayers to Goddess Padmavathi.

Before emplaning to New Delhi from Renigunta, he would also offer prayers at Srikalahasteswara Temple in Srikalahasti.
