India to be booming market in aviation industry in two decades

Mumbai, Feb 5 (UNI) The Indian aviation industry will get more boom in the next two decades, an industry analyst said today.

Talking to reporters here, Airbus senior analyst (airline marketing) Sanjay Sharma said the company had already got seven airline customers and 53 per cent of the aircraft were made by Airbus.

The seven airline customers in India included Go Air, Indigo, Air Deccan, Kingfisher, Indian and Jet, he informed.

He said 935 new passenger aircraft and 165 new freight aircraft would be added in the Indian aviation industry by 2025 and added that the cost of the 1100 aircraft would be 105 billion dollars.
