Hooda hopeful about nuclear power plant in Haryana

Chandigarh, Feb 5 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today expressed optimism about seeting up of the proposed nuclear power plant in Fatehabad district of the state.

Talking to reporters here, he said the Nuclear Power Corporation had inspected the site of its location in Fatehabad district and the matter was being persued with the Central Government.

He said he was confident about Haryana getting the project as Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had made the announcement about setting up the proposed plant in the state.
