Cognizant revenue increases to USD 424.4 million in Q3

Chennai, Feb 5 (UNI) Leading provider of IT services Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation (NASDAQ:CTSH), today announced that its Q3 revenue increased to USD 424.4 million, up 65 per cent compared to last year.

According to a company release here, GAAP net income was USD 69.5 million, or USD 0.46 per diluted share, compared to USD 57.7 million, or USD 0.39 per diluted share, in Q4 2005.

GAAP operating margin for the quarter was 18.0 per cent.

Excluding stock based compensation expense of USD 8.1 million, non-GAAP operating margin was 19.9 per cent, at the high end of the company's targeted 19 to 20 per cent range.
