2 police officers held for civilian's death in Kashmir
Srinagar, Feb 3: Jammu and Kashmir police today arrested two senior police officers for allegedly killing a civilian in the fake encounter case.
Director General (DG) police Gopal Sharma said then Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hans Raj Parihar and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP-Operations) Ganderbal Bahadur Ram were taken into custody for kidnapping and later killing a civilian.
Both the officers were earlier attached after a police invetigating team found that Ganderbal police was involved in the killing of carpenter Abdul Rehman Paddar in a fake encounter.
With this a total of four police officers have been taken into custody by the police in the case.
Mr Sharma said they will be booked for kidnapping and murder of Paddar.
