One killed, 6 injured in fog-related road mishaps

Sitapur, Feb 3 (UNI) At least one person was killed and six others were grievously injured in separate road mishaps due to dense fog here today.

The mishap took place near Sarsauli village on Lucknow-Delhi National Highway, where a car collided head on with a truck.

One person died on the spot. The three critically injured were rushed to hospital, where they were sent to Lucknow for treatment.

The deceased were yet to be identified, police said.

In a separate incident under Mishrikh police station area, three persons were injured after a speeding bus, in which they were travelling, rammed into a tempo, coming from the opposite direction.

The injured were admitted to hospital.
