Mother sells her daughter for flesh trade

Tirupati, Feb 3 (UNI) In an inhuman act, a mother sold her 15-year-old-daughter for trafficking for Rs 10,000 at Mulakalacheruvu near here.

Police sources said Lakshmi Rudhramma sold her daughter Anita to Palamma and Sujatha. The railway police at Ananathapur grew suspicious about them. When questioned they revealed that the girl was to be sold for flesh trade.

On information from railway police, the police arrested Anitha's mother at Mulakalacheruvu.

The women along with an agent, were remanded to police custody.
