BMC victory credit to Uddhav

Mumbai, Feb 3: Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray today said,''I am stunned over the victory of Shiv Sena in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections.'' ''The credit of this victory should go to Executive president Uddhav Thackeray and his team of leaders,'' Mr Thackery said.

In a statement appeared in Shiv Sena mouthpiece ''Saamna'', the Sena Chief said that the elections have wiped out the factors like former Shiv Sena leaders Narayan Rane and Raj Thackeray.

In a message to the fourth estate, Mr Thackeray said the journalist should look at this victory with 'open eyes' and respect the people's verdict given in favour of Sena.
