Eight killed, three injured in road accident in Kutch

Bhuj, Feb 3 (UNI) Eight people were killed and three others injured in a jeep-oil tanker collision on National Highway No 15 near Lakadia village of Kutch district early today.

The occupants of the jeep were on their way to Bhuj to attend a recruitment of teachers trainee camp when the jeep dashed against the oil tanker. The victims belonged to different villages of Banaskantha district.

Seven of them died on the spot while one died in the hospital.

The injured have been admitted in Wagad Welfare Hospital in Bhachau taluka. Their condition was stated to be out of danger.
