Chiefs of 37 air forces to attend aerospace seminar
New Delhi, Feb 3 (UNI) Chiefs of 37 air forces, including the US, the UK, Russia, China, Israel and Sri Lanka, will gather here to attend a two-day aerospace seminar beginning tomorrow, aimed at a cooperative vision of enhanced peace and security.
External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the seminar, 'Aerospace Power in Tomorrow's World', to be organised by the IAF as part of its platinum jubilee celebrations.
Apart from the 37 air chiefs from across the world, former chiefs of the Indian Air Force, Army and Navy will also participate in the seminar, Discussions would take place on topics such as emerging geopolitical context of aerospace power; transformation of airpower-transforming technology into doctrine, strategy and application; joint operations-- integrating aerospace operation and surfaces; and cooperative aerospace operations in future.
Among other participating countries are Germany, Japan, Italy, France, South Africa, the Philippines, Vietnam, Australian, Canada and Thailand.
