BJP denies crisis in Vasundhara Raje Government
New Delhi, Feb 3 (UNI) The BJP today maintained there was no crisis in the Vasundhara Raje Government in Rajasthan, dismissing reports that four of her ministers had resigned as "untrue".
''Neither the Chief Minister nor the State BJP President has received any such resignations,'' BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar told mediapersons.
''I will say nobody has resigned. There is absolutely no crisis in the BJP in Rajasthan or in the Vasundhara Raje Government,'' he said.
''If there is any dissidence that will be taken care of. But as of now, no such incident has come to our notice,'' he said, asserting that the party would not tolerate any kind of indiscipline.
Earlier reports reaching here had said four Raje Government ministers--Ghanshyam Tiwari, Ghulab Kataria, Madan Dilawar and Bhawani Joshi--had resigned from the government.
Mr Javadekar denied that a section of senior state leaders was unhappy over the reappointment of Rajya Sabha member Mahesh Sharma as Rajasthan BJP president. There was total unity in the party in Rajasthan and the Government was doing well there, he added.
