Youth held for killing sister in Aurangabad
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Feb 2 (UNI) The rural police here today arrested an 18-year-old youth for allegedly killing his minor sister.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) S R Bhajibhakre told UNI that Pandharinath Bichkule, who earlier told the police that he had sold his sister for Rs 10,000, later, confessed he had allegedly murdered his 11-year-old sister by strangulating her.
He later buried her body near Tisgaon village on Aurangabad- Ahmednagar road on the night of January 31. Police have recovered the body of the girl, Mr Bhajibhakre said.
The motive for the murder is yet to be ascertained.
The police have registered an offence under sections 363 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), sources said.
