Winning SS candidate injured in clashes

Nashik, Feb 2 (UNI) Shiv Sena candidate Bharti Tejan Puri from ward number 70 was injured today when NCP supporters clashed with her party workers at Nashik Road.

Ms Puri won a seat for her party in the civic polls against NCP's Sushila Tatpute.

The NCP's loss in the elections infuriated her party supporters who attacked party workers of the winning candidate, sources said.

The injured have been admitted to Bytco hospital the sources added.
