2 wanted Lashker militants arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 2: Two wanted militants of Pakistan-based Lashker -e-Toiba (LeT) were arrested by police at Sopore, about 50 km from here in north Kashmir today.

A police spokesman said searches were conducted by local police at Sopore early this morning after a tip off was received that some militants were hiding there.

He said during the operation two listed militants Mohammad Rafiq and Sajjad of LeT were arrested.

The militants were wanted in a number of militancy related incidents and were carrying a reward on their head, he said.
