Rs 36,000 cr Central aid for TN: G K Vasan

Thanjavur, Feb 1: Union Minister of Statitics and Programme Implementation G K Vasan today said the Centre had allotted Rs 36,000 crore to eight departments of the Tamil Nadu Government for implementing 57 welfare schemes.

Talking to news persons here he said the state government had been fulfilling the poll promises.

He said the GDP statement of his Ministry showed a nine per cent growth.
