Polio drops to be administered in MP town
Gwalior, Feb 2 (UNI) In the wake of polio cases being reported in neighbouring Uttar Pradesh, pulse polio drops will be administered again to children -- below five years of age -- here on February 11.
Collector Rakesh Srivastava said directions had been issued to ensure participation by voluntary organisations besides each section of society in this regard.
Chief Medical and Health Officer Archana Shingvekar said polio drops would be administered at polio booths on February 11, while it would be given from door to door on the next two days.
Mobile teams had been deployed for administering polio drops at underconstruction colonies, factory premises, forest villages and other places, while polio drops will be administered at transit booths in bus stations, railway stations and other crowded areas.
