PNB revises interest rates on Non Resident deposits

New Delhi, Feb 2 (UNI) Punjab National Bank today revised the interest rates on FCNR (B) deposit scheme effective from this month.

The rate on USD deposits has been revised to 5.18 per cent for maturity of one year or less than two years, 5.10 per cent for two years to less than three years, 5.85 per cent for three years to less than four years, 5.05 per cent for four years to less than five years and 5.06 per cent for five years only.

The interest rate on GBP deposits has been revised to 5.62 per cent for first maturity, 5.56 per cent for second maturity, 5.51 per cent for third maturity, 5.47 per cent for fourth maturity and 5.41 per cent for fifth maturity.

The applicable rate of interest on NRE Yerm Deposits for January 2007 is 5.93 per cent for maturities of one year to less than two years, 5.85 per cent for maturities of two years to less than three years and 5.80 per cent for maturities of three years to five years.
