Patil to visit Gujarat, Rajasthan to inspect border fencing, BoPs
New Delhi, Feb 2 (UNI) Home Minister Shivraj Patil will visit the border areas of Rajasthan and Gujarat, including the Sir Creek area, to inspect the ongoing work on border outposts and fencing.
Mr Patil would be accompanied by Director General of BSF A K Mitra, Director General of NSG and CRPF J K Dutt and former Director General of CRPF J K Sinha.
During the two-day long visit, the Home Minister would inspect the the progress on border fencing working in the Western Sector and construction of Border Out Posts in Bhuj district of Gujarat and Munabao in Rajasthan.
He would also hold discussion with the officials of the National Building Construction Corporation and Central Public Works Department which are responsible for the construction of BOPs. He would also interact with the BSF personnel posted in these areas.
In Munabao, the Home Minister would visit the railway station and border gate and interact with the civil administration officials about the issues concerning them. He would also inspect the Sir Creek Area.
