Leopard caught by people falls ill in wildlife sanctuary

Jammu, Feb 2 (UNI) A leopard brought to the Ramnagar Wildlife Sanctuary by the people here at Manda has fallen ill, official sources said today.

''The leopard has not eaten anything since it was brought to this sanctuary,'' a wildlife official told UNI.

Sources said condition of the 'big cat' was critical and it had suffered an acute weight loss.

The animal was caught by locals at Baguna in Raya-Suchani area, 32 km from Jammu, a fortnight ago.
