Israeli companies keen to invest in MP

Bhopal, Feb 1 (UNI) Four Israeli companies, working in the tourism, urban development, infrastructure development and real estate sectors, have expressed interest in investing in Madhya Pradesh.

The Lev Leviev Company's Chief Executive Officer Lev Leviev met Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Tel Aviv yesterday. The company's activities spread over sectors including real estate, tourism, urban development, mining, cutting, polishing and energy, an official statement said here today.

Officials of the Azoorim Investment Company Ltd -- working in the housing sector -- Meshulam Levinsten Contracting and Engineering Company Ltd -- working in commercial development and tourism development sectors -- and First Infraventures Pvt Ltd -- working in real estate -- met Mr Chouhan last night.

The representatives expressed a desire to visit Madhya Pradesh to help in preparing a master plan for infrastructure development.

Israeli Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development Shalom Simhon hosted a dinner in the chief minister's honour yesterday.

Mr Chouhan left for India today and will arrive here via Mumbai tomorrow, the statement added.
