Cotton worth over Rs 1.5 crore gutted in major fire

Bhuj, Feb 2 (UNI) A major fire broke out in a godown in Mudra Port in which cotton bales worth over Rs 1.5 crore were destroyed.

Fire brigade sources said 15,000 bales of cotton stored in a godown by a private party meant for export was completely gutted in the fire yesterday.

No casualties was reported in the incident and the reason of the fire was not yet ascertained.
