Civic poll results reflect Cong's waning fortunes: BJP
Mumbai, Feb 2 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP General Secretary Vinod Tavade today said the outcome of ten municipal corpoprations have shown that the urban voters have rejected the Congress.
Mr Tavade told reporters that the Sena-BJP alliance would wrest Mumbai, Thane, Ulhasnagar and Nagpur.
He admitted that the MNS had ''created some trouble'' for the party in several wards in Mumbai but added that even the NCP suffered due to the presence of MNS.
''The strategy and alliance with independents and smaller groups will be decided after the arrival of senior leaders including State BJP president Nitin Gadkari and Gopinath Munde,'' he added.
