CITU to hold protest rally in Rajasthan on Feb 22

Jaipur, Feb 2: The Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) will hold a statewide rally here on Febuary 22 demanding the full implementation of labour laws.

In a press conference here today, CITU state general secretary Ravindra Shukla said the rally will be held to protest the BJP government's anti-labour policies. Among other its demands are aligning the minimum salary with the Consumer Price Index and full compliance with labour laws.

At All India CITU meet in Bangalore last month, Mr Shukla informed the decision to organise a protest rally in the first week of March in Delhi and a one-day token strike during the budget session.
