CBI should probe CM's brother Shivpal's role in Nithari: BJP

New Delhi, Feb 2 (UNI) The BJP today reiterated its demand for the dismissal of the Mulayam Singh Yadav Government in Uttar Pradesh, calling upon the CBI to probe the involvement of Chief Minister's brother and Public Works Department Minister Shivpal Yadav in the Nithari killings.

Talking to newspersons, BJP spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad said they had information that Noida police officer Dinesh Yadav had been in constant touch with Shivpal Yadav about the Nithari incidents.

Several other police personnel of Noida were also having links with senior leaders of the Samajwadi Party. "It is because of this that no departmental action has been taken against Dinesh Yadav," he said.

If the Congress was concerned about the Nithari incidents, it must force dismissal of the Mulayam Government and imposition of President's Rule in Uttar Pradesh, Mr Prasad said, assuring the BJP would support the Congress in Parliament on the issue.
