Carpet Expo to be held from Feb 20 to 23 at Pragati Maidan

New Delhi, Feb 2 (UNI) More than 300 foreign buyers are expected to visit India's largest carpet fair to source their requirements of handmade carpets, which is scheduled to be held at Pragati Maidan from February 20.

During the four-day mega fair, 150 exhibitors will put on display all types of handmade floor-coverings manufactured in India including fine quality oriental and hand-knotted carpets made of wool, silk and staple from Uttar Pradesh, Jaipur, Agra and Kashmir.

The fair is being organised by the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC).

Hand-tuffed and handloom woollen carpets, woollen and cotton durries, flat weaves such as Schumaks and other products such as shaggy rugs, chenille rugs, scatter rugs, in contemporary designs and colours and all types of textures will be on display.
