4 pilgrims killed in road accident

Mainpuri, Feb 2 (UNI) Four pilgrims were killed in a bus-jeep head-on collision in Bichwan area here today.

Police Superintendent R K Rai said some pilgrims were returning from Farrukhabad after taking a holy dip in the Ganga, when the mishap occurred in the morning.

A roadways bus hit their jeep, killing four of them on the spot.

The deceased are yet to be identified and a case had been registered.
