12 killed in minibus accident in Jammu

Jammu, Feb 2 (UNI) At least 12 passengers were killed and several others injured when a minibus went off the road and fell into a gorge at Nowshera in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir today, sources said.

The overcrowded minibus was on its way from Sial to Nowshera when it rolled down into a 50-feet Nullah at Breri village, about 114 km from Jammu, the police said.

The victims were being shifted to the nearby sub-district hospital (sdh), Nowshera and arrangements were being made to shift the seriously injured to government Medical Collage and Hospital, Jammu.
