New Delhi, Feb 1 (UNI) Delhi's tryst with warm climes, brought about by light showers on Monday, continues.

After witnessing a sharp drop, from a high of 14.3 degree Celsius on Tuesday, to 11.3 degree C yesterday, the mercury in the Capital rose again today to 12.7 Degree C, nearly four degrees above normal.

Though Delhiites woke up to a slightly chilly morning, it was another warm day for Delhiites with the maximum temperature remaining more or less at yesterday's level, dropping just a little bit to 26.1 Degree C.

With both the minimum and maximum temperatures continuing to be above normal, the warmth in the Delhi air over the last few days since light rains in the Capital on Monday, prevailed.

Weathermen, however, expect the temperatures in Delhi to drop in the next few days, indicating a return to the winter chill towards the weekend.

''The night temperatures over Northwest India are likely to become near normal during next 48 hours as a fall of 2-3 Degree C is expected,''the weathermen said.

Infact, the met office has forecast a drop in mercury in Delhi to 10 Degree C tomorrow.

The weather office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with slight mist in the morning hours.
