Vice President to visit Tirupati on Feb 5

Tirupati, Feb 1 (UNI) Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat will arrive here on Feb 5 on a two-day visit to Tirupathi and Tirumala.

Mr Shekhawat would arrive at Renigunta airport, near here from Hyderabad by IAF special aircraft at 1700 hours on Feb 5 and go to Tirumala.

He would offer worship at Lord Venkateswara temple in the night, official sources said here today.

After an overnight stay at Tirumala, he would have 'suprabhata darshan' at Tirumala temple, before going to Tiruchanoor to offer prayers at Goddess Padmavathi temple.

Later, he would leave for New Delhi at 1230 hrs from Renigunta airport, the sources added.
