Trade between Indonesia and India may go up to USD 10 bn by 2010
Mumbai, Feb 1 (UNI) Both countries, India and Indonesia, will work together to increase the trade between the two countries from the current level of USD 4 bn to USD 10 billion by 2010.
Addressing a meeting held by FICCI here last evening, Indonesian Vice President of Industries, Jusuf Kalla, said ''The Indian industries are invited to anchor their base in his country in sectors like power, infrastructure, tourism, and others.'' He hailed the role being played by Indo Rama Industries, which was the sponsor of the event and which is present in Indonesia for more than 35 years.
Speaking on the occasion, FICCI President, Khorakiwala, said that the trade between the two countries was constantly growing and advised the industry to take advantage of it. Also, he informed that FICCI will soon open its office in Indonesia.
