Parents accuse each other of killing kids

Harda, MP, Feb 1 (UNI) In the wake of three children -- including a girl -- being hacked to death at their home in this district's Dhoolia village about 20 km from here, their parents are accusing each other of the crime, the police said.

Sunita (30), who is charged with the murders and an attempt to commit suicide by plunging into a well, alleged that Ram Khilawan (35) pushed her into the well after committing the triple homicide.

On the other hand, Khilawan -- a farm watchman -- claimed that he was not at home at the time of the incident.

The deceased were identified as Payal (5), Chhotu (8) and Akash (10). The authorities were alerted this morning and Sub-Divisional Officer (Police) Abhishek Rajan reached the spot.
