Notices to Haryana, others on Delhi girl's plea

Chandigarh, Feb 1 (UNI) Justice MMS Bedi of the Punjab and Haryana High Court today issued notices to the Haryana government and other respondents on a plea by Ms Neha Monga, a resident of Patel Nagar, New Delhi seeking independent investigations and arrest of people involved in her kidnapping and throwing her in an unconscious condition at Ambala on January 5 this year.

She has also accused her father Chaman Lal Monga of raping her, getting her raped by his friends and later pressuring her into flesh trade by making her CDs etc. A complaint about which was registered at police station Patel Nagar.

The friends of her father were suspected to be behind the kidnapping as they had been pressing to withdraw the complaint.

Her counsel submitted that a complaint about kidnapping and throwing her at Ambala was registered with the police station, Padao, Ambala.

In view of threat to her life, she has also sought directions to provide her security besides orders for a probe by an independent agency or the crime branch, and transferring the case to Chandigarh.
