Mega LifeSciences launches 'Glow' for Indian women

New Delhi, Feb 1 (UNI) Focussing on the skincare products market in India with a marketing spend of one million dollars, Australia's Mega LifeSciences Pty Ltd, today launched a new health supplement, 'Glow' for women aged 25-40 years.

Glow, the German FDA approved nutrient in a 30 capsules-pack will be available at an initial price of Rs 500 at the Guardian Lifecare store, and then at health stores, pharmacies and even super markets all over the country.

The capsules are to be taken twice daily.

''We will spend around one million dollars to market our products here initially. For us, India looks more interesting for such products as the lifestyle of Indian women are changing,'' Mega LifeSciences Regional Director (based in Malaysia) Sudhir Gandhi told reporters here.

Besides skincare, the company also plans to launch products for weight management as well as sports nutritions, ''as we expect to grow our business in the next few years,'' Mr Gandhi said.

''To marketise our products we are establishing an outsourcing office in Gurgaon which will be operational by the next two-three months. We already have an office in Mumbai to outsource the products worldwide since the last one and a half years,'' Mr Amit Verma, Marketing Manager (India), Mega LifeSciences, told UNI.

As women are more prone to a stressful lifestyle due to maintaining a balance in work and home environment, the company boasts the new supplement will enhance their skin keeping it smooth, firm and protecting them from the effects of ultraviolet (UV) light thus making skin look younger and healthier.

Mega LifeSciences with a team of 400 experts comprising doctors, pharmacists and nutritionists is present in over 20 countries including Australia, Europe, Asia, Latin America and many more.

The company focuses on its business philosophy of making healthcare and beauty products of human wellness and will expand to many more markets internationally in the coming four-five years.
