Medical Officer and Senior Assistant trpped by ACB

Hyderabad, Feb 1 (UNI) Anti-Corrupton Bureau(ACB) Officials today arrested the Medical Officer of the Government community hospital Kovvur in East Godavari District and Senior Assistant of Mandal Revenue Office, Alair in Nalgonda district on corruption charges.

The Accused Medical Officer Y.V. Ratna Raju was trapped by the ACB when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs.1000 from the Senior Assistant of the same hospital to extend an official favour.

The tained amount was recovered from the accused.

In another case, Senior Assistant of MRO office, Paritala Sudhakar was caught red handed by the ACB officials when he demanded and accepted Rs 900 as bribe from the complainant for an official favour. The amount was recovered from him, according to an ACB release.

Both the accused were being produced before the Special Judge for ACB cases.
