Court dismisses Kohli's bail in Hannah Foster case

New Delhi, Feb 1: A city court dismissed the bail application of Maninder Pal Singh Kohli who allegedly murdered a British girl after committing rape. It is alleged that Kohli murdered a British teenager named Hannah Foster after committing rape in London in March, 2003 and was arrested in West Bengal in India in July 15, 2004.

According to the prosecution a serious allegation has been leveled against Kohli and extradition proceeding is pending before the honourable court. Prosecution also argued if Kohli's granted bail he may tamper with the evidences or also may flee from justice.

After hearing the argument Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Dr Kamini Lau looking into the serious allegations, ordered to dismiss the second bail application of Kohli.
