Congress fails to deliver good in Punjab: Nitish
Jalandhar, Feb 1 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said despite being in the power at the Centre as well as in Punjab, the ruling Congress had failed totally to provide good governance and speedy development in Punjab and this failure would cost it dearly in the ensuing assembly elections in this state.
Talking to reporters here today, Mr Kumar said the people of Punjab were unhappy over the five year long ''misrule'' by the Congress government in the state and looking forward for alternative government under time tested leadership of SAD-BJP combine's leader Mr Parkash Singh Badal.
Mr Kumar said that his party Janata Dal (United) was working hard for the success of SAD-BJP candidates in the state.
He said that some more leaders from Bihar, including some members of his council of ministers would come to Punjab to campaign for SAD-BJP candidates.
